Very informed comments in this thread about FOSS licensing and the relationship the software has to the software's output.

This relationship doesn't exist, if you want to be open source. This is deliberate. You don't want the creator of your text editor to own the output. But of course this highlights a huge issue when a creative work is used in ways counter to the creator's goal.

I can totally see NFTs killing people's interest in creating open source art projects.
